Kitab - Marbled Purple Stripe
A fine tasting garlic with strong depth of character, if perhaps less complexly rich than some purple stripes. Originating from Central Asia. Comprised of few, but very large cloves, somewhat reminiscent of garlic from the porcelain group, but the purple pattern of a purple stripe. A fine tasting garlic when eaten raw is spicy on the tip of your tongue. Great for sautéing. It is noted as late in spouting but earlier to bolt.
